15 Weeks/ 3 days!
15 Weeks/ 3 days today! This time is just flying by. Last week was a very eventful week for us. My dear friend Constance got married this past Saturday (June 23). I left for Washington, DC on Wednesday and me/ hubby returned on Sunday night. I was busy and on the go from the moment I got in on Wed until we left Sunday. Wednesday - Candice & I were up chatting like 16 year old girls until the wee hours of the morning. Thursday was the bridal shower at B. Smith Restaurant and that evening was the Bachelorette Party at the Leopard Lounge. Thursday was a 14+ hour day for me & the little one. Plus - afterwards Shunda & I were up practically all night chatting! So that made 2 straight nights for me not getting enough sleep...it caught up with me the next day! Friday was the rehearsal followed by the rehearsal dinner. Saturday, June 23rd was the big day. Constance made an absolutely beautiful bride. I really enjoyed the catholic wedding ceremony. The priest put a lot of personal touches on the ceremony which was great. We took pictures and then proceeded to the reception. Sunday was the farewell brunch and we left for Atlanta shortly after. It was a very very eventful 5 days for us. Aside from having the worst headaches nearly every day of the visit - all of the pre-wedding and wedding festivities were just beautiful. I'm very happy for Constance & J C as they enter into this next chapter of their lives as husband/ wife.
Me & Hubby at the Wedding |
As for our precious baby - he or she weighs around 2.5 ounces and measures 4 inches. His or her proportions are becoming even more normal - his/ her legs are now outmeasuring the arms. Although I'm not feeling it yet - the baby is squirming/ moving a ton inside. Also, his or her joints and limbs can all move now. We find out the sex on July 10th - so the countdown is definitely on. And the next day July 11 - we leave for San Francisco;-) and get back on July 16th.
