Year 36 Goals Update 01/06/2015
I jotted down about 20 different goals in a few categories
as a part of YEAR 36. I’m making a bit of progress, but there’s room for
improvement. Click to view my Goals List.
Exercise
1. Started back wearing my FitBit on 1/5. I had to find the
battery – I know that’s sad. Trying to get in at least 7K steps per day. I have
a nice little walk between the parking garage and work so I should be able to
get there.
Home Organization
2. I finally hung curtains in my family room and breakfast
nook. They look great and make the room look very cozy. I hung them myself!
3. I organized my pantry into bins for each category. This
helps a lot with when I’m trying to find things, but some of my bins are overflowing….so
I’m trying to get that under control.
Family Fun
4. My mother spent the month of December with us while Alvin
was away at training plus Christmas. We spent Christmas with my parents and New
Years with Alvin’s parents. I’m very happy with the amount of time we got to
spend with family over the holidays.
5. Family Vacation – Trying to get one in before our baby
girl arrives in May ---- stay tuned.
Cooking/Cleaning
6. I’ve been trying a LOT of recipes. Check out my RecipeBox Page.
7. I need to improve on the sprucing up every night though.
Just for ME
8. I have read a couple of books. I read The Ripple Effect by Doug Grady and Gone Girl in the last 2 months….which doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s huge for me. I read Gone Girl in 2 days. It was SO crazy and good. I’m now re-reading Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.
