Pasta Salad

This recipe was adapted from my favorite aunt's infamous pasta salad - Auntie Doretha Cravens. Her pasta salad was a staple at ANY family event. I have made it over the years for various events and it's always a hit. It's pretty easy and you can really make it  your own. I've added shrimp to the dish to make it a full meal and it's very good. I'll admit - the measurements may be a 'tad' off because I don't have a recipe for this.

Ingredients

Pasta (Your Preference) - I use a box of tri colored pasta just to add color to the dish
2 - 10 oz. container grape tomatoes
3 - cucumbers
1 - small red onion
1/4 - 1/2 cup Zesty Italian Dressing
Salt, Pepper to taste
Note: You can also add black olives, artichoke hearts, celery, etc. This is truly a dish that you can add your own flavor to!
Directions

1. Prepare pasta per directions on box.

2. Cut grape tomatoes in half, thinly slice cucumbers & red onion.

3. When pasta is done, run under cold water to chill.

4. Mix pasta, tomatoes, cucumbers & red onion in a large bowl. Season with your favorite seasonings. I use salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a little bit of cayenne pepper. Start with 1/4 cup of Zesty Italian Dressing and add more if desired.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
