Cranberry Sauce

I made homemade cranberry sauce for Christmas this year and it was a HUGE hit!!! It was so delicious. Eating the cranberry sauce on top of my mama's dressing was a dessert for me. This recipe is super duper easy..... only 3 ingredients. I will never buy a can of cranberry sauce again:-) ENJOY!

INGREDIENTS


  • 1 cup of Orange Juice
  • 12 ounces Cranberries
  • 1 cup of White Sugar


INSTRUCTIONS

In a medium sized saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the orange juice. Stir in the cranberries and cook until the cranberries start to pop (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat and place sauce in a bowl. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.

Note: I actually cooked the cranberry sauce for 20 minutes, so that it was really thick.
