Oven Baked Pancakes
I saw this recipe on the Real Housemoms blog and decided to try
it. What enticed me about this recipe is being able to put pancakes in the oven, not
having to be concerned with flipping from side to side, whether they all look
alike, and the fact that I could multi-task while they were in the oven.
The
ingredients are basically the same as I use in my tried and true Old Fashioned Pancake Recipe!
The flavor of the pancakes were pretty good. I just don’t think that me (or my
family) could really buy into “square pancakes” – maybe it’s a mental thing.
Also, I like my pancakes to have a slight crisp to them around the edges and
these do not. This is definitely a good option if maybe you have a large number
of people to feed and/or you are comfortable with the issues I had with them.
ENJOY!
